Grants are available for not-for-profit organisations to provide and improve community buildings that are located within the vicinity of a Biffa operation. Grants are available to improve village halls, community centres and church halls with the aim of encouraging and enhancing community involvement.

Large grants are available for not-for-profit organisations that are looking to improve a built or natural environment of regional or national significance and located within 15 miles of a significant Biffa Group operation or active Biffa Landfill site.

Grants are available for not-for-profit organisation for projects that will benefit people in their spare time in communities located within the vicinity of a Biffa operation. For example, new play equipment, landscaping works, skate parks, woodland walks and building works with communal areas of sporting clubhouses, etc.
The five year Community Led Housing Fund is led by CAF Venturesome and supported by Nationwide Foundation, Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, Power to Change, the Tudor Trust, CAF and several individual philanthropists. The fund aims to provide financial support for around 1,000 new affordable homes built by the communities who need them.

Grant funding to help individuals (over school age) and groups of exceptional ability in the UK that would not otherwise be able to carry out an artistic project or activity without financial support. The Trust welcomes applications in support of the Arts, in particular music (incl. opera), lieder, composition and dance.
The National Lottery Heritage Fund
£40m available to award grants between £50,000 and £2m.
The deadline for applications for grants from £50K to £250K is 12 noon 14th April 2021.
Open to environmental charities and their partners that can create and retain jobs while delivering projects across England to restore nature, tackle climate change and connect people with nature. Capacity funding of £125K will be allocated to eligible LA’s to help develop their bids for further rounds.
Applicants must submit bids to MHCLG by 18th June 2021 (noon). Majority transport bids will be assessed by the DfT and must also be submitted before this application date.
Announced at the 2020 Spending Review the £4.8bn Levelling UP Fund will invest in local infrastructure that has a visible impact on people and their communities across the UK, supporting town centre and high street regeneration, local transport projects and cultural and heritage assets. The first round will focus on three themes: smaller transport projects that make a genuine difference to local areas; town centre and high street regeneration; and support for maintaining and expanding the UK’s world-leading portfolio of cultural and heritage assets.

Previously advertised Further Education Capital Transformation Fund – Deadline Extended
The Further Education Capital Transformation Fund (FECTF) gives FE colleges the opportunity to bid for investment in capital projects that address the upgrading of their FE estate.
The deadline for applications has now been extended to the 22nd March 12.59 pm.
